Digging Starts! And Stops!!!

Well this was the start of our pool dig and it was at this point that they discovered very large lumps of rock.

Then our budget went out the window!

Home Sweet Home

Well we are finally in. Here are some pics of the kids rooms, our room and the main family/living room. The lounge room, is still a bit of a store room and the spare bedroom is currently a play room.

Maybe its because its ours but it does feel like home and its nice to be able to put things on the wall and let the kids have posters etc, even if i decide exactly where they go, well they still have to look reasonably organised. We are still in the process of sorting out our pics and deciding where we want them.

House Update 22/03/08

Well the house is almost complete and we have had our inspection meeting with the site supervisor. There were no major problems and we were overall very pleased. I have no pics as yet because the drive is still not complete and the front of the house has not been cleared so it still loks a bit of a tip but will get some more pics when this has been cleared, hopefully this week.

All being well we should get the keys on Friday, and then it is a mad panic to try to get the painting finished before the floors go in before we move in on 11 April (that is the plan!!!!!).

Anyway will keep you posted and more pics will definately follow as the house starts to become more of a home!

Joey Scout Camp

Hi, well again we are a bit remiss with pics but thought i would just give you a quick up date on what has been happening.

Ryan and Joe went on Scout camp, thought Joe should go for the first time just in case any problems. Needless to say there were none and both of them enjoyed it. Ryan was shattered by the time they got back on Sunday, apparently they did not get to sleep till after 12am and then up at 7am. Hopefully the Scout leader got some pics and if so i will post them when i get them.

Kirsty Does Have a Social Life!!!!!

Yes I do get out! This is my friends hen night (not Ali that is getting married in Bali, another friend), it was a 60's/70's theme and as you can see i was quite reserved compared to a couple of the others. We all met up at a pub and then headed off in a party bus, pics not publishable, down to Fremantle to a belly dancing class. Didn't learn very much but it was a good laugh, then a few drinks in Freo and then back to the city, where i gave up and headed home.

All in all a great night was had by all!!

PS, i was sort of dressed up, my dress was in the 60's theme and was very short with bright orange tights and knee length boots. That was more than enough for me!
