Ausskick - Mothers Day Game

Well so much for the lie in!!! They really seem to go for Mother's Day in a big way over here and one of the things was a game of Aussie Rules footy against the kids and then helping in their training session. Needless to say the kids one the game. Well we did have Joe as our coach!! Ryan won Player of the Day, much to his delight.

It is some set up they have with hundreds of kids, all playing for Quinns Bulls, but sub divided into smaller teams who normally play against each other every week. Ryan seems to enjoy it and his throwing and kicking is improving.

Liam has started tennis lessons and really enjoys it. He is actually quite good and manages to hit more than he misses. There is only 3 kids in the class and the coach is excellent with them. Liam seems to really enjoy it so i guess that is all that matters.

Auskick!!

Ryan has started Auskick, which is Aussie Rules football for kids. His team is the Quinns Bulls and is based up at Somerly, they have clubs all over the country. Aussie rules is a bit of a cross between football and rugby. He seems to enjoy it and hopefully he will meet other kids who live up in the Somerly area.

The kids had a good here and Ryan & Liam were more interested in the little train than the animals, but they did have a hold and a least a quick look around. Ryan was happy because his pal James was there as well.
